Get Involved - Food & Drink Concessions

We were heavily oversubscribed in 2010 and had to disappoint a number of caterers. As a result of that, this year we are asking for expressions of interest to be provided to us by the end of December 2011 and for all those expressing an interest to complete a short questionnaire highlighting how much Jersey produce they will be using at the show. Our intention is to offer space to those who will be using the most produce grown, reared or made using local ingredients in Jersey.

Band Description Charge per unit (2 days)
A Commercial - food based £450 (max. 15 sq. m)
B Commercial - non-alcoholic drink based £250 (max. 10 sq. m)
C Commercial - ice-cream based £300 (max. 10 sq. m)
D Special - food based £350 (max. 10 sq. m)

Concession holder's responsibility
  • Caterers will provide their own stall structure (e.g. trailer, gazebo etc.). You will be expected to bring your own fire extinguisher which must be fully serviced.
  • The West Show Association holds blanket public liability insurance for the show but each caterer will make arrangements for individual cover.
  • Caterers will comply fully with Health and Safety regulations, including those covering food hygiene.
  • Alcoholic drinks may not be served except with the prior agreement of the Association and necessary licences.
